You could imagine yourself on one of the fine Ayrshire links courses in Scotland when playing here (but at a fraction of the cost).  The wild and exposed links course at Wimereux was created in 1907 within sight, on a clear day, of the white cliffs of Dover.

 

Wide undulating fairways, greens in good condition, tough heather, gorse, and coarse dune-grass to provide the rough, what more could a keen British golfer desire?

 

A shop?  Yes, there’s a good one, with a reasonable choice of leading brand gear.  A bar and restaurant?  Once again you won’t be disappointed at Wimereux.  A Practice Range protected from the elements?  You’ve got it.

 

The attractive small resort of Wimereux with its beach, shops, cafes and other facilities will provide plenty of activity for non-golfing members of the family.
