Golf du Touquet
Parcours La Forêt (The Forest) Par 71 -
Parcours La Mer (The Sea) Par 72 -
These two courses are among the best in France, and compare with any in Europe.
Both are beautifully landscaped and integrated into the terrain. The Forest course is predominantly laid out through sheltering groves of pines and other trees. It was designed by Harry Colt in 1904 and incorporates many “English” features that will make it seem familiar to British golfers.
The Sea course, also designed by Colt, but in 1934, is a truly magnificent and, at times, scary links course that could remind you of the finest Scottish seaside courses. Swept by the salt breezes and winding through massive dunes and impenetrable rough, another similarity with its famous Scottish cousins is that it has been the venue for many important championship tournaments.
The clubhouse has a small shop, bar and restaurant and offers all the usual facilities including a Practice Range. There is also a 9 hole course, ‘Le Manoir’.
Le Touquet is a fine and famous resort with a superb beach, excellent shops and boutiques,
smart restaurants, stylish cafes, brasseries and bars, a couple of Casinos and other
facilities that can provide sophisticated amusement for non-
